Composting Practices and Soil enrichment

A compost pit is maintained in the field to which all the animal/feed waste is put on a daily basis. A sizeable amount of of compost is made every year which serves as a major share of manure to the farm. Enrichment of compost is done by applying Trichoderma on a regular basis. In addition to this organic manures like Vermi compost,  bio gas slurry ,fish amino acid and jeevamrutham are also produced in the farm and applied along with the  main manures .
